In this episode we turn to one of the most painful reversals in the Prophet’s (saw) Medinan period. After the victory of Badr, Uhud brought wounds, loss, and the martyrdom of Hz. Hamza (ra), as a moment of disobedience on the battlefield changed the course of the day. We reflect on the Prophet’s (saw) injury, the grief of the believers, and the deeper moral lesson of defeat. We also examine how Uhud exposed internal tensions in Medina, especially around Ibn Ubayy and those the Qur’an would call the "munafiqun"—people whose hesitation and political reservations now became a test of loyalty, faith, and authority.
